This is my last week on the DT at Practical Scrappers - I must say I have truly enjoyed the past 6 months. For my final project~ featuring buttons~~ I wanted to make a thank you card. Thank you to Christine and Angie, Kerri, Kim and all my wonderful sisters!
My card is made from paper by Me and My Big Ideas..with some Stampin' Up cardstock thrown in. I used my Stampin' Up lg. flower punch and the MS postage stamp punch. Frog is Sizzix and sentiment is Quickutz. The ribbon is Prima Dude collection. Swiss dots embossing folder here and there as well.
Thanks again for such a lovely time at Practical Scrappers.

Frog and Dragonfly Birthday Card
More Create a Critter! Wonderful checkerboard sketch at RAQ's challenge this week for this one. I made it double...one 4 1/2" square and one 5 1/4" square on a 6" card. Love the way the gingham and polka dots work togther. Added the little frog, lilly pad, and dragonfly from Create a Critter...some flowers enhanced with buttons and floss and a die cut tag with hand lettering. And, of course, pop dots!
This card fits Totally Papercrafts Recipe Challenge this week....... 4 embellishments (tag, flowers, dragonfly, buttons), 3 papers (polka dot, gingham, and white dots), 2 ribbons (green and yellow floss tied on the flowers), and one image (frog)

Looks Like Love - Polka Doodles # 4 and Cricut Cardz Challenge #10
Love this little frog paper piecing (he's hand cut from a My Scrap Chick pattern)....and thought it fit the "non-traditional" Valentine exactly. Finished it up in lavendar, green, black, and white for Cricut Cardz. Used Doodlecharms for the little "rain" hearts, embossed them with Swiss dots. Tiny hearts are a punch. Sentiment is computer generated and embossed too.

Froggy Be Mine
My wonderful hubby took me to Michael's and Hobby Lobby this week-end....left me alone....and didn't care what I bought! I had fun! Found a great Valentine's paper stack and couldn't wait to use the frog. None of the Cricut frogs were quite right, so I made up one with George ovals and circles.
The recipe is: 3 2' green ovals,
cut one in half for the feet
1 1" white circle (for the belly)
2 3/4 inch green circles (eyes)
6 1/2" ovals in black, white, and green
cut green in half for the feet
2 1/4" pink circle for the cheeks
Framed him out with Nesties.....embossed with Swiss Dots. Added ribbon and a little metallic heart, embellished with writing and tiny heart shaped rain dots.
