This little card is for my daughter's friend who will graduate this year. I used Create a Critter for the chick 3 1/4" (It's really the duck, but I liked him better!)...Everyday Paper Dolls for the grad cap (1 1/2" Real Dial) All the paper is scraps...the sketch is from RAQ's challenge on the boards....and the sentiment is a Quickutz in the cuttlebug.

Jitterbuggin Sketch 1
Well, I finally made a card from my own sketch. I used lots of patterned paper (Practical Scrappers this week), some great ribbon that was 25 cents on clearance, my Cuttlebug (Swiss dots and Swirls embossing, "thanks" Quickutz), and some gems. Threw in a big yellow flower from Paisley and a cute little ladybug from Doodlecharms. If you would like to enter the Jitterbuggin Challenge and have a chance to win a new Cricut Cartridge, click here.

Happiness Always
A combined challenge here. Frosted Designs is to use a RAINBOW and Cricut Cardz Challenge is to use a butterfly or a bird. The challenge at Paper Popsicles is to use cardstock so I'm entering this there as well since there is no patterned paper and I used all cardstock, embossed even! And the challenge at Polka Doodles this week is texture and dimension, which this card has with its flying butterflies and embossing.
The butterflies are MS punch....just used scraps of rainbow colors that seemed to blend in hue. Highlighted the centers with a white Jelly roll pen..just looked better like that. The card is embossed with Swiss Dots and the half circle is cut with pinking shears, then embossed with the hearts folder. The butterfly stamp is Stampology and the sentiment is Stampin' Up. Added some Heart Rain Dots around the butterfly.

Prehistoric Birthday
RAQ'S challenge on the Cricut board called for a triangle card.....hmmm...well, the triangle I thought of was a volcano. And my favorite cartridge, Create a Critter, has a great one on it. I made one and a half volcanos, only used the bottom third of one and cut it a little wider to make side flaps to glue to the back. Cut it in half in the middle so the card would open. Dinosaur is cut 4 layers at 5 1/4"...doodled and inked. The trees were some I had made about a year ago for a swap as extras...I'm sure they were from Stretch Your Imagination. Fun card!

My First Gate Fold Card
I've never tried a gate fold card before, but it was one of the sketches at RAQ's challenge on the Cricut board this week so it was time to try. I used all scraps, except for the brown cardstock. It is 5" square which made the math easy for me. KI Memories paper....MS punch...Oriental Trading paper ribbon. And the flowers are Walk in My Garden (2 1/4" and 2") and I was thrilled to find out they interlock. I think I might try another one.

You Stinker You!
I haven't used Create a Critter in a few days, and I am suffering from withdrawal. I loved the skunk, and he is my first attempt at flocking. Added some glitter too...and white gel pen. Flowers are from Oriental trading company with some "jewels" added. They are stacked on MS punch circles. Paper is scraps....so is the ribbon. Sentiment is from a sticker package....I love it when that works out.
This card is for several challenges: Critter Sketch Challenge (use a critter), Polka Doodles (summer blossoms), Cricut Cardz (use three circles)

Mr and Mrs Card
This card is a scraplift from the incredibly talented Amanda Broad (bunnylover on the Cricut board)
I loved the way she used the Mr. and Mrs. from Sweethearts with some MS punch arounds to create an elegant yet fun wedding card. I also used some Prima flowers and my Swiss Dots folder for this one. You can see more of Mandi's work at Having a Mandi Moment.

Sock Monkey Hi!
Bugaboo Stamps has the greatest freebies this week...SOCK MONKEYS! I had to make a card with at least one of them. Colored him with Prisma and Gamsol, enhanced the white parts with a little glitter glaze. Added some buttons and a paper-pieced car. All the paper is scraps (I'm trying to be good....) and the punch is MS. That little bit of punched border makes this card an entry in Practical Scrappers Challenge this week. Added some buttons and a "HI" sentiment from a $1 Michael's stamp, cut out and placed on a handy 1 3/4" George circle. Great black trim from Tuesday Morning, 3 rolls for $1.29!

Memories
I am in RAQ's challenge on the Cricut board and we were to use white on white with a splash of color...not usually my "thing." So I woke up this morning with this card in my head....couldn't wait to make it this evening. The sketch is from RAQ's challenge too. Flower is Walk in my Garden....Sentiment is stamped. Added ribbon, gems, some embossing, and a punched eyelet border by Stampin' up.

An Apple A Day
Simple little teacher appreciation card....although I'm going to use it as a preschool graduation card. Apple is from Doodlecharms, cut at 3 1/4", embossed with Swiss Dots. Worm is from Create a Critter, cut at 2 1/2" (I really love the way this cartridge has all the layers lined up straight across....so easy to use and no wasted paper!) The background paper is from DCWV's 2008 Christmas stack (I needed red and green....) and ribbon is from Target's #1 bin. Sentiment is computer generated, cut, and inked. Sketch is from RAQ's challenge on the Cricut board.
This card is for Fantabulous Cricut #8 (use an apple) and Cricut Cardz Challenge #23 - make red the primary color.
