My dad is a car lover, so this challenge fit well with his Father's Day card. Used VW cut on Paper Dolls at 3" - twice in lime green (layered together) and once in metallic black and silver foil (used these to cut out car elements.) Wheels are 2" circles from George with button accents. The little driver is side view at 2" - prom boy shirt and pirate boy hair. Sentiment is computer generated and paper is from the DCWV Christmas Stack. This really matched the Chirper Challenge from last week of use something with wheels and red and green (but No Christmas!) But I was too late!

Grasshopper Birthday Card
Happy birthday Cullen! I used a sketch challenge from the Cricut messageboard for this one. Grasshopper is SYI, cut on lime green shadow, and metallic normal. Used Argyle embossing folder and rub-on sentiments. Hat and "6" were in the odds and ends drawer. The buggy paper is wrapping paper, tied with elastic cord with a couple of buttons strung through. Blue ink on edges.

Simple cards
Nothing seems to be coming out right when I craft. I needed a birthday card and an anniversary card.....these are the results. I do like the colors and the paper is DCWV Spring glitter stack. Used nesties with a snag'em stamp...attached with pop dots. The anniversary card is a Doodlebug stamp, colored with markers and watercolor pencils. I added rhinestone centers to the flowers. Background paper is embossed with birds and swirls.

Buggy Birthday
Happy birthday to Sarah! This card was inspired by wrapping paper. I took the bug theme and used Sizzix dies cut in the cuttlebug on white cardstock. I painted them with watercolors, Sharpies, and a little dimensional paint........attached with pop dots. The background paper is the wrapping paper....sentiment and flowers at the bottom are rub-ons. I'm gonna make some more "buggy" things today........they are so cute and fun!
