High Hopes Challenge #11 Flower Power
The challenge this week was to use a flower on your card. I didn't have a stamp with a flower and although high stamps are my favorite, I didn't use any stamp at all. I made a poinsettia out of SYI with Cricut, ink, and a little glitter. Paper is Daisy D's and the sentiment is a rub-on. Tied all together with a raffia bow!

Joy to the World - Sketch Saturday 28 and Cute Card Thursday - punches
Just a cute little "happy card" using the great sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge 28. I had to reverse the little accent dots to get everything to fit. The penguins are Zooballoo, the paper is the Snowy Day collection (I keep using it!), and the tree is made with the MS branch punch with a double MS snowflake punch for the star. The sentiment is computer generated. Hopefully, this card will bring a little joy to someone!

Cupcake Craft Challenge 17
This week's cupcake challenge was a great sketch. I had not made the PPDU Santa and was really wanting to try him so he and Rudolph became the focus of this card. They are cut at 3 inches and embellished with gel pins, glitter, and dimensional paint. Rudolph got a jewel nose. The paper is DCWV and KI Memories and ribbon is Wal-Mart. Stamps for the sentiment are Doodlebug.

All That Scraps Challenge ATS DT Challenge #29 And Cute Card Thursday Challenge 39
I love it when one card fits two challenges. For All That Scraps, the requirements were to use aqua, royal blue, and chocolate brown. I used a really cute digi-stamp download from them called Winter Bear. The design is colored with markers (my first attempt with this........), chalk and gel pens. And glitter.....have to use some glitter. I used the Doodleharms scalloped heart, DCWV paper, a rub on for the sentiment, and some dimensional glittery snowflakes.
For Cute Card Thursday, the requirement was hearts. The bear is trimmed in hearts...and well, the rest is self-explanatory.
Fun challenges....both of them!

A Spoon Full of Sugar #28 Thank You Snow Much
This week's challenge was to create a thank you card. I needed one anyway so this challenge was high on my priority list. I used some of that Snowy Day paper.....(my goal is a dozen cards from it by the end of the week). The stamp is a High Hopes design colored with watercolors and a little glitter. The snowglobe is from Christmas cheer with glitter and metallic pen. The mirrored snowflakes are Favorite Findings and I printed out the sentiment.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town
This card is for Sketch Saturday's Challenge #27. Great sketch....and great for patterned paper (which is my very favorite thing!)
Santa is from Christmas Cheer....cut 2 times at 3" and once on shadow. I added some "sparkle to his beard" Tag is from CC too.
Paper is DCWV and Brenda Walton for KI memories....silver metallic as well.
Stamp is doodlebug...Karen Foster brad....Wal-Mart ribbon.
I like the color combo on this card a lot!

Cute Card Thursday - Lilac Challenge
Cute Card Thursday had an open challenge to use lilac this week. I love the color! Since I need to make Christmas cards, this is the result. Used DCWV Christmas stack paper with some lilac, purple metallic, and grey metallic cardstock. The ribbon is from Wal-Mart (where else is there?), and the snowman is a die cut from Christmas Cheer. I stamped his face using Peachy Keen's winter assortment and his buttons are from a $1 assortment at Joann Fabrics. I used chalk and ink to finish him. The snowflakces are the MS punch, and pop dots were used behind the snowman and each snowflake.

A Spoon Full of Sugar #27
A vintage inspired card for A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge #27. The challenge provided a really great sketch to use. I used a High Hopes Stamp, colored with watercolor pencil and some glitter embellishment. The paper used is from the Daisy D's Paisley Sugarplum collection, and I added some die cuts from the same pack. The ribbon is from the $1 bin at Joann's.
By the way, Cupcake Craft Challenge has a vintage theme from this week's challenge. If I run out of time, I'm going to "multi-task" this card.
