St. Patrick's Day Anniversary Card _ Sketch Saturday #41

Here's the finished card for my aunt and uncle. I used scraps of paper, some decorative edge scissors, computer generated font, and some Prima flowers with pearl insets. I used my Cuttlebug embosser on the olive green cardstock.

Sketch Saturday #38 Soccer Frog Birthday

This sketch is from Sketch Saturday. The little frog is a digistamp from Pink Petticoat....check them out.. The soccer ball is an Ellison die cut. The paper is from a Making Memories closeout collection at the local Big Lots. I used lots of gel pen doodling on this card as well. It is a birthday card for a 4 year old.

Tons of Love! Sketch Saturday #37

I loved this sketch from Sketch Saturdays....so simple, and it allowed for patterened paper which I love. I cut the elephant from ZooBalloo on shadow and normal. Then I cut the layers on chipboard (trunk is cut 3x). Everything on this card is inked; added sticker sentiment (from Target $1), and rhinestones. I'll use for Valentine's Day, but I need to remember this card as a good kid's birthday card.

2 for 1! cupcake color challenge #25 and Saturday sketches #36

Used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and the colors from Cupcake Crafts Challenge to create a birthday card for a dear relative. The image is from a children's coloring book called Sugar Girls, scanned, shrunk, and watercolored. Fun card to make....I love purple!
The inside says, "We won't say how long ago.......happy birthday!"

Sketch Saturday #32 - Frog-get me not!

So much for no cards. I looked at Sketch Saturday's sketch 32....and wow! Had to make one! I love pink and green....and frogs....and this cute little digi-stamp from Pink Petticoat was begging to be used. I used watercolors and a little glitter on the stamp (and a drop of dimensional paint on the flowers). I backed the image with the pattern paper and pop-dotted it. The green polka dot paper was some that was just hanging around and the pink stripe and green colored polka dots are from Daisy D's Sweet Baby Jane collection. The flowers were cut from George on some scrap paper I had and I put a little pink rhinestone in the center to make them sparkle. For the corners, I cut two circles from George (one at 3" and 1 at 3" shadow) and cut it into quarters. I cut out the computer generated phrase and inked the edges.

Happy Valentine's Day...........and please don't "frog-get" me!

Frantically trying to finish my Christmas cards. Great sketch at Sketch Saturday provided inspiration. Used Christmas cheer and some great new paper (can't remember the name) and metallic cardstock.

Joy to the World - Sketch Saturday 28 and Cute Card Thursday - punches

Just a cute little "happy card" using the great sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge 28. I had to reverse the little accent dots to get everything to fit. The penguins are Zooballoo, the paper is the Snowy Day collection (I keep using it!), and the tree is made with the MS branch punch with a double MS snowflake punch for the star. The sentiment is computer generated. Hopefully, this card will bring a little joy to someone!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

This card is for Sketch Saturday's Challenge #27. Great sketch....and great for patterned paper (which is my very favorite thing!)

Santa is from Christmas Cheer....cut 2 times at 3" and once on shadow. I added some "sparkle to his beard" Tag is from CC too.

Paper is DCWV and Brenda Walton for KI memories....silver metallic as well.

Stamp is doodlebug...Karen Foster brad....Wal-Mart ribbon.

I like the color combo on this card a lot!
