Trio of Bunny Cards - Cute Card Thursday #54

I really wanted to use the bunny on the Doodlecharms cartridge this year so here he is. I'm making cards to use up scraps! Bunny is cut at Blackout-wiggly eyes, sharpie details, thread whiskers, and inked cheeks and ears. I cut a 5" oval out of the front of my card....ran it through the embosser (those Swiss Dots I love so much..) and put patterned paper on the inside of the card. Attached the bunny to the inside with pop dots and added ribbon and flowers, etc. Quick and easy.

The challenge at Cute Card Thursday was to use citrus colors, and all three cards do just that. I love the bright colors for Easter!

Born to Be Wild Cute Card Thursday #47

Here is my guitar playing gorilla for Cute Card Thursday. Gorilla is cut from Animal Kingdom, guitar is cut from a piece of paper in DCSV's rockstar collection (and the background paper from there too.) Lettering is stickers and/or chipboard that I had laying around and a little bit of ZooBalloo. The boxer shorts are hand cut and that paper is Daisy D's bambino collection.

Raggedy Ann Valentine - Cute Card Thursday 42

Cute Card Thursday's challenge was to use something you received for Christmas to make a card. My DH got me a Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots embossing folder so that is what I used. Embossed the white card and decorated with ribbon and a strip of patterned paper. Heart is from Doodlecharms, cut once scalloped and once plain (then embossed) Used some stickers for the sentiment and attached with pop dots. The doll is from PPDU, cut at 4" I cut all the coordinating parts, embossing the apron and pantaloons. I cut out the hair from both Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy, putting the longer hair behind the head and the shorter hair on the front. I cut out the eyes with a hole punch, glued white paper behind it, and filled in with a black Sharpie. The nose is handcut. I used some gel pens to embellish her and glued a ribbon on the top. She is also attached with pop dots.

Joy to the World - Sketch Saturday 28 and Cute Card Thursday - punches

Just a cute little "happy card" using the great sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge 28. I had to reverse the little accent dots to get everything to fit. The penguins are Zooballoo, the paper is the Snowy Day collection (I keep using it!), and the tree is made with the MS branch punch with a double MS snowflake punch for the star. The sentiment is computer generated. Hopefully, this card will bring a little joy to someone!

All That Scraps Challenge ATS DT Challenge #29 And Cute Card Thursday Challenge 39

I love it when one card fits two challenges. For All That Scraps, the requirements were to use aqua, royal blue, and chocolate brown. I used a really cute digi-stamp download from them called Winter Bear. The design is colored with markers (my first attempt with this........), chalk and gel pens. And glitter.....have to use some glitter. I used the Doodleharms scalloped heart, DCWV paper, a rub on for the sentiment, and some dimensional glittery snowflakes.

For Cute Card Thursday, the requirement was hearts. The bear is trimmed in hearts...and well, the rest is self-explanatory.
