Well, not too scary....mostly cute!~ The challenge at Jitterbuggin' this week is to use scraps (YES!).....follow the sketch (which is a patchwork one)....and add a Cricut "bee"......or "b". My "b" is from Pooh Font in the word Boo! The paper is Imaginesce....ribbon is Martha Stewart (20 cents at Big Lots!).....and the spiders and webs are from Paper Doll Dress Up. Lots of dimension in this one...hard to get the full impact in a picture. I know it's early for Halloween, but I just couldn't wait!
There is a great sketch at Practical Scrappers this week by Gloria Stengal. So much fun I had to try it. And it worked out great for a Valentine for my teen-age son (They are difficult, aren't they?)
I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the "world" and the alien....George for the stars......Alphalicious for the oval (with stickers) and Pooh Font for "my world." Lots of carts for a simple card....used sharpied, gold metallic gel ink, and a white jelly roll to finish it. (and Pink alien cheeks!)
My first project with EveryDay Paper Dolls! Basketball player was one at 3"....used a sticker for the number......pens to embellish him. Face is hand drawn. The large net and the big bsketball are from the same cartridge, cut at 3" real-dial size. "Hey" is from Opposites Attract (circle feature - backed with black) and "All Star" is from Pooh Font (Marker)
